OUR VISION
In Luke 10, Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan—a story that challenges us to love our neighbors with compassion that crosses boundaries. While others passed by a wounded man on the road, it was a Samaritan—someone considered an outsider—who stopped, cared for him, and ensured his recovery.
This story reminds us that “neighbor” isn’t defined by proximity or similarity, but by the value God places on every person. Living it out means:
• SURRENDERING our plans to God so we can see the needs around us
• SEEING the inherent worth of every person
• SERVING those with visible and hidden wounds
• SACRIFICING our time, comfort, and resources to bring healing
Local missions is how we live this out—showing up for the hurting, walking with people through crisis, and working to break cycles of poverty and injustice. It’s not reserved for a few; every believer can play a part.
We love because God first loved us. As we serve our neighbors, we become the hands and feet of Jesus—bringing hope, healing, and the love of Christ to our community.

Real, systemic change is occurring in communities to reverse our nation’s foster care crisis as a result of the meaningful connections formed through CarePortal. Partner with this pre-existing network of caring people and local churches engaging in cross-sector collaboration, working together to facilitate local, proactive, and effective care for kids.
CHINA OUTREACH MINISTRIES
China Outreach Ministries provides an opportunity for Gospel conversations by helping Chinese students learn and practice English. By investing in this ministry, you’re valuing lives by giving them confidence and, most importantly, Christ.
FCA
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Join them as they make disciples through engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same.
LIFELINE
Lifeline believes adoption is one way God provides families for vulnerable children who need to know the love of Christ, and the love of family. Join them as they walk alongside Christian missional families through the adoption journey and provide them with resources as they love, nurture, and disciple their children.
METROPLEX WOMEN'S CLINIC
Metroplex Women’s Clinic provides free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and STI testing and treatment, to help women with unplanned pregnancies make informed and empowered decisions. Join them as they minister to women in desperate need of the Gospel.
PHASED IN
Phased In is a transitional living program for emancipated foster youth. The goal of Phased In is to assist these young adults in learning basic life skills that will prepare them for independent living.
SCHOOL OUTREACH
Mary Moore Elementary and Boles Junior High are perfect opportunities for us to get to know our next door neighbors. Get engaged in the community through volunteering just across the street!
TEACHER PRAYER
The Teacher Prayer Team strategically assigns praying people a teacher in the Arlington Independent School District. Our goal is 170 teachers through Park Springs and 1000 in connection with other churches. Sign up to pray for our teachers and you’ll be resourced with specific prayer points.

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
