OUR MISSION
Discovering life in the power of God’s grace and sharing His life-changing grace with others.
OUR VISION & VALUES
OUR VISION
1. Participating in Spiritual Formation
We envision and pray that each person at PSBC will be engaged in the journey of being formed in the image of Christ through the process of whole-life discipleship with other believers. (Romans 8:29; 2 Cor 3:18, Luke 6:40). We affirm that to be formed into the image of Christ requires individual spiritual practices like personal Bible meditation, prayer, confession, self-denial, and service. It also requires the help of spiritual people in a home group characterized by faithfulness, transparency and genuine biblical friendship and love. We are committed at PSBC tothe spiritual participation of each member in those activities and ministries best suited to help him or her discover life in the power of God’s grace. As a church, we envision equipping members in their spiritual practices, ensuring that every person receives love, care and instruction in a home group, and creating an environment rich in opportunities for participation in the life we share in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. Valuing Diversity
God created every person in His own image (Genesis 1:27). Heaven will be filled with people from every nation, tribe, people, and language (Revelation 7:9). Christ brings us together as one body through the cross, breaking down all barriers and hostility. (Ephesians 2:14-16). We desire to see our church be intergenerationally, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse in order to be a reflection of God’s heart for all peoples. We have the opportunity to create an environment where people can belong by reaching out to those in our community and work places from all walks of life, inviting them to discover and share life at Park Springs.
3. Growing in Emotional and Relational Health
Dealing with our baggage Biblically, authentically, and responsibly. (Matt. 11:28-30, John 15:12, 1 Peter 2:2, 2 Peter 3:18, Romans 5)
4. Reaching Out on Mission
We have been given the ministry of Reconciliation by God (2 Cor. 5:18), therefore each person is charged to take the message of Jesus into the places God has placed them, with both their words and actions (Acts 1:8). God’s plan is global and we get to participate in telling the message of Jesus both in our own communities but also to places all over the world where people do not know Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20).
5. Joining Together in Worship
Cultivating an inviting environment for people to encounter the Trinity.(Colossians 3:12-16, Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 4:2-6, 1 Peter 4:10, Psalm 100)
OUR VALUES
Biblically-Faithful
We seek to live under the truth of God’s Word and have it serve as the basis for how we
function as a church.
Gospel-Centered
We are convinced that lost people need to be rescued by Jesus and those who know Jesus need to grow in Him.
Relationally-Honest
We seek to be a home for the hurting. Each of us have areas of brokenness in our lives. We seek to be authentic with one another in our journeys and allow Christ to be the author of our story.
People-Focused
We are convinced that the ministry God calls us to involves people. We seek to allocate our time and resources in investing in helping people grow in intimacy with Jesus.
Thoughtfully-Creative
We seek to be a church that pursues unique ways to encounter the lost and communicate the life transforming power of the Gospel.

ONE
GOD
who is the author and finisher of our faith, and who exists eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
THE

who glorifies Christ, convicts and regenerates sinners, baptizes, indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation, and fills, guides, instructs, gifts and empowers all believers.
THE
BIBLE
which is inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, our final authority in faith and life, and our true guidebook for living.
ANGELS
who were originally created holy but some of which followed Satan and are now fallen.
FALLEN
HUMAN RACE
who, having been created in the image of God, through Adam’s sin and personal wrongdoing acquired a sinful nature and became separated from God without human remedy.
PERSONAL
SANCTIFICATION
which occurs at the moment of salvation, daily through the Word and Holy Spirit, and ultimately in the glorified state.
SPIRITUAL
UNITY
of all believers in Jesus Christ, which is his body, the Church.
